Update: Top stem cell scientist Svendsen leaving UW-Madison for California
Highly regarded stem cell researcher Clive Svendsen is leaving the University of Wisconsin-Madison to become the director of the new Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute in Los Angeles. Svendsen, who is the co-director of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center at UW-Madison, will start his new position on Dec. 1.
