Heart health study in Great Lakes Bay Region includes stem cell therapy
Michigan CardioVascular Institute and Covenant HealthCare of Saginaw are enrolling patients in a new stem cell therapy for heart attack patients. The therapy, Prochymal, is a formulation of adult stem cells that may be able to prevent and treat heart damage after a severe heart attack.
